What a week
Sep. 1st, 2006 10:55 pmHey everyone. Sorry its been awhile since I've posted a real entry. I've been sort of busy this week. We had revival at the Church of God and then Mandy and I were walking (yes even in da rain!) so I've been home late every evening. I haven't felt much like updating either.
Life is good. lol Things have finally settled down for now. This makes me happy! Granny is improving daily and will hopefuly be home in October. I am seeking employment but have several leads as of now so this is a good thing. I have 2 more applications to turn in and hopefully I'll hear from them this week.
Wendy and I are probably going to the movies tomorrow night but that is up in the air. It depends on the weather and such. We aren't going to have flooding I doubt but it still may be a mess tomorrow with the wet roads so we may just stay in and watch movies at her house. She's been wanting to see Ya-Ya Sisterhood, but I might have a little problem since it has bad language. She may just have to deal though. It's not too awfully bad. i'll have to watch it tonite and refresh my memory because its been awhile since I've watched.
Revival was a good thing for me this week. I feel better now. I got to speak to several people that I normally don't get to talk to otherwise. It was great! I had some revelations as well and I've been praying hard for several people so I'm hoping that things will work out there too. The past two days I have been really praying. The other day I had an epiphany while I was thinkin'. I don't have to act out to be cool, I just need to be myself. I have had people tell me that, but it just came to my mind this week so clear. It was weird.
Anyhoo, I am going to start being myself and get rid of the masks and quit trying to act cool. Just because I do crazy stuff don't mean I'm cool and actually it probably makes me look like a dumdum. lol Anyway, I don't know why I'm sharing that, but I am. It was just weird how all of a sudden that little thing just sank in my head.
So I hear the footyball game has been rescheduled to Monday soooooooooooo I might go to it although i haven't decided. i do want to watch PCHS pound PHS. That is the highlight of the football season for me! LOL Plus, I wanna see if the band is any good er not. They weren't that great at the fair parade but I heard it was an improvement from the 4th parade so I dunno. I'm just nosy that's all. lol
Well, I'm going to go change into my nitey clothes and then probably hit the sack. Jake is already laying by the pillow snoring. This is the craziest one cat. He slobbers and snores. Go figure! April u think I'm a bad, you should hear Jake! LOL :P Adios my homies!! ~J~
